My Tempted and Tantalizing Weekend

It's amazing what you can fit in a Corolla. I've moved more times than I can count in my trusty little car, including putting full room sized rugs and furniture in it. But last week posed a special challenge. I had to head to the western part of the state to work on the upcoming series Castle Rock, so I packed up the Corolla with my makeup stuff, my bird stuff (it takes a village to raise a cockatiel, ya'll), and my book stuff.

Next stop: Staten Island, New York for the Tempted and Tantalizing book signing!

I hadn't done a signing in a while. They're a lot of work, for both the organizers and the authors. Janine Infante-Bosco and Jennifer Smaldone-Bosco did an amazing job in their event debut! They made it well worth the trip (New York traffic, gah) for authors and readers.

I never know what readers will want at signings. I always wind up running low on a different book, or in this case selling out! All my copies of Sin City Vampire Club and Dirty Little Secret found loving new homes. I'm totally out of swag, too. I've got six (holy crap) events next year, so I better get ready!

Do you attend author/reader events? If so, what's your favorite?

Here are some photos from the event!
